3. CMU T-Shirt Design Competition
The CMU T-shirt Design Contest is a new initiative of the Undergraduate Student Senate's Campus Life Committee. The Project is a way to get student work and input on what school spirit is at Carnegie Mellon. We want to improve the Senate Campus Gear Sale by asking you what YOU want to wear - and letting you design it.
Designs are due by October 9th - check out www.cmutshirt.com for more details!

4. Spray Chalk Resolution Approved, Updates to Poster/Graffiti Policies
At its September 17th meeting, Student Senate approved a resolution in opposition to the use of spray chalk on campus. Senate will be working to revise and update the official poster and graffiti policies in the coming weeks. If you're interested in giving your feedback about either of these two policies, please e-mail student-senate@andrew.cmu.edu.
You can see the full text of the spray chalk resolution on the Senate website: http://cmu.edu/senate.
Senate is also looking for one or two undergrad students to serve on a working group/committee to revise the poster and graffiti policies (which have not been updated since 2003). This group would meet two or three times over the next month to propose changes to the poster and graffiti policies. Please e-mail student-senate@andrew.cmu.edu if you're interested.

5. Safety on Campus/Escort Service
Student Government wants your feedback on your overall sense of safety on campus and specifically on your experiences with the Escort service - good, bad, or suggestions for improvement. Please e-mail student-senate@andrew.cmu.edu with your experiences or if you want to be kept up to date on these discussions.

6. Apply to JFC! Applications due TOMORROW
Just a reminder that if you want to apply to the Joint Funding Committee, which distributes over $1 million in student activities fee money to student organizations, applications are due tomorrow (Friday). More information is available on the JFC website - https://stugov.andrew.cmu.edu/jfc/ - it's a really great opportunity to get involved. All class years welcome!
