Carson Loop Bus

The Carson Loop is a weekend, nighttime loop bus for undergraduate and graduate students that encourages students to explore other Pittsburgh neighborhoods.

When does the StuGov Loop Bus Run?

Leaves the UC Turnaround Fridays and Saturdays at: 6:30, 7:30, 8:30, 10, 11PM, 12, 1, & 2AM

The Carson Loop Bus is unavailable on the 18th and 19th of September due to the G-20 convention.

Guidelines of Ridership

  • Present Carnegie Mellon ID to get on the Loop
  • Exercise safe and responsible decision-making
  • Be respectful of the driver and other passengers
  • Plan alternate methods of transportation and have $10-$15 in case of emergency or delay
  • Respect that each student with Carnegie Mellon ID is permitted only one guest per ride

How much does it cost to ride?

The Loop Bus is free of charge for students who show their CMU ID. Each CMU student can bring on one guest.
